The third year of the Group Insurance Commission’s physician
tiering program began on July 1. It incorporates several new elements
that physicians should familiarize themselves with, particularly when
treating state and municipal employees who are covered under the GIC.
Meanwhile, the MMS continues to pursue litigation against the GIC and
